A design for community washrooms for low-income households in urban Indian cities, which focuses on the problem of water shortages. A collaborative effort with the residents of Attur Layout, Bangalore it focuses on rain water harvesting using a simple sand and gravel filter. The gray water from the attached laundry area and basin is then used for flushing and washroom cleaning purposes.
